Gunnar Peterson on Understanding Cloud Security Standards, Part 3
In this Editor’s Pick, Gunnar Peterson blogs about cloud security standards. In part 3 of a series, he talks about security cloud authorization and access and the importance of centralization using gateways as a policy enforcement point. He describes four “anti-patterns” that enterprises should avoid as they move to the cloud and how fine-grained authorization and centralized, attribute-based access controls can close the gaps in cloud security by providing a dynamic perimeter that manages access control across integrated, distributed applications consumed by mobile devices. He goes on to explain why gateways are ideal for providing policy enforcement.
