See the table below for available methods to update your Intel® NUC BIOS to the latest BIOS version. You only need to use one.
The following Intel NUC models use the Aptio 5 BIOS core, which uses a different method for BIOS updates and Recovery.

|F7 BIOS Flash update||Download PDF||Recommended method. Initiate a BIOS update by pressing the F7 key during the boot process (before the operating system loads). You can use this method if Linux* is installed on the Intel® NUC.|
|Express BIOS update||Download PDF||Initiate a BIOS update from within Windows*.|
|Power button menu update||Download PDF||Initiate a BIOS update from the Power Button Menu (by pressing the Power Button for three seconds). You can use this method if Linux* is installed on the Intel NUC.|
|UEFI BIOS update||Download PDF||Update the BIOS from the EFI Shell. You can use this method if Linux* is installed on the Intel NUC.|
|iFlash BIOS update||Download PDF||Update the BIOS from a bootable USB device. You can use this method if Linux* is installed on the Intel NUC.|
|Recovery BIOS update||Download PDF||In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted, it's possible the BIOS may be left in an unusable state. Try the BIOS Recovery method to fix the issue.|
