In this guide you will learn how to post a question and a discussion in the Makers community.
The first step is to visit to the Makers website and choose the community in which you want to participate: The Intel®  Edison community or the Intel® Galileo Community.

After you’ve chosen the community, click the option View the forums & join the conversation.

Galileo - View the forums & join the conversation

Edison - View the forums & join the conversation

Once in the forum there will be four main squares with options. Go to the Actions square and click Start a discussion.

Start a discussion

The Start a discussion will look like this; once here fill out the spaces for Title and Content.

If you want to post a question and have other users and Intel support to assist you, check the square under the title (red highlight). If you want to start a discussion, share information, or simply show the community some of your projects and interact with other users, don’t check the box under the title—this will mark your post as a discussion, not a question.

There are also options for you to add tags and categorize your post. We suggest you to categorize and tag so that your post is easier to find for users that are searching for specific words. Once this is done, click on the “Post” button below.

Now show the communities: what will you make?
