Here's a checklist for you to get started using your Intel® NUC Kit NUC5CPYH.

  • Follow the User Guide to begin using your Intel NUC.
  • Find compatible memory modules.
  • Find compatible peripherals (for example, drives, monitors, and hubs).
  • Download and install the latest BIOS version:

  • Install the latest device drivers from Intel® Download Center for:
    • Chipset
    • Graphics
    • Intel® Management Engine
    • Wireless and/or Gigabit Ethernet (depending on how you connect)
    • USB 3.0—required if you install Windows 7*
    • Bluetooth®—required if you use Bluetooth devices
    • Audio—required if you use the 3.5mm audio jack
    • Consumer Infrared (CIR)—required if you use an infrared remote control
    • Serial I/O—required if you use the I2C, SPI, UART, or GPIO host controllers
    • Intel® Trusted Execution Engine (Intel® TXE)—required for Secure Boot and platform security features
    • NFC (Near Field Communications)—required if you connect an NFC device to the board (not available on all revisions)
