Download and install the graphics driver manually when receiving error message from IDSA: "A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer..."
After manually updating the graphics driver from version 24.20.100.6194 to version 24.20.100.6286 the below error message appears:
A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.
Follow these steps:
- Download the latest Graphics Driver.
- Uninstall the current Graphics Driver from Device Manager.
- Install the driver you downloaded in step 1 manually.
- Update Windows*.
Cause: Intel Driver and Support Assistant does not recognize the driver as an Intel product.
