How can I set 3440x1440 resolution on an external monitor using the Intel® Graphics Control Panel in Windows® 10.

Resolution

The selectable resolutions on your computer depend on both the computer configuration and the resolutions supported by the monitor or display. To resolve this issue, follow these suggestions:

  • Install the latest graphics driver
  • Install the latest .INF
  • Install the latest BIOS.

If the resolution in question is not a selectable resolution after following the steps provided above, then the cause of the issue is a hardware limitation. Depending on the HDMI* revision, a resolution and refresh rate may not be available. HDMI* revision 1.4, 1.4a,1.4b is limited to 4K x 2K @ 24Hz.
