    Description

If you use the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager to create, at locations PLL_6 and PLL_7, transmitter PLLs that use SDI or CPRI with phase frequency detector (PFD) feedback turned off, compilation of the design fails with an error similar to the following:

Error: Can’t place the MPLL or GPLL PLL <tx pll name> in the PLL location PLL_7 because the location operates on compensation mode but the PLL supports only “no compensation” mode.

    Resolution

Manually set PLL operation mode to no_compensation.
